Welcome! We are pleased you have selected Women’s Health Associates to meet your women's healthcare needs.

We provide high quality, personalized, convenient and caring women’s health services for women throughout the many stages of their lives. We provide healthcare for women by women! Our dedicated medical staff includes doctors, nurse practitioners, physician assistants and certified nurse midwives. We strive to use our many years of experience and empathy, combined with modern practice management techniques, to provide exceptional care to our patients.

Women’s Health Associates was founded by Dr. Brenda M. Williams in 1995. Dr. Williams passed away in 2009, however her vision of the practice was to provide timely, compassionate, quality care to all who seek that care, with respect for and trust in those we serve. In order to achieve this mission, we will create an internal working environment based upon cooperation and respect among all members of the healthcare team. While our practice has grown considerably since its conception, our providers and office staff are dedicated to continue with the founding philosophy.

Gynecology

Women’s Health Associates provides a range of gynecologic services, from annual check-ups and routine Pap smears to procedures performed in our office or surgeries in the hospital. We provide contraceptive counseling and family planning services, including insertion of IUD’s. We also encourage women to achieve a better quality of life through healthy practices and preventive care.

Obstetrics

Women’s Health Associates has five obstetricians and two certified nurse midwives who focus on all aspects of pregnancy care from preconception counseling through childbirth and postpartum. We understand how important it is to have a provider who will support you throughout your pregnancy experience. We believe a woman’s involvement in her birth process is the first and most important step toward a safe and satisfying delivery.

Primary Care

Women’s Health Associates provides a range of primary care services with an emphasis on a woman’s health. Our primary care providers can help you manage conditions like high blood pressure, high cholesterol, thyroid disorders as well as provide comprehensive annual wellness/preventive examinations in conjunction with your gynecologic preventive examinations.
