Cardiologist for Both Southern and Northern California

I developed heart problems when I lived in Redding during the early 2000’s. At the time, I was in the position of asking the teaching staff in the nursing program at Shasta College to recommend a cardiologist. To the person, their enthusiastic response was to go to Dr. Vimal Nanavati, which I did. He diagnosed my condition as needing heart bypass surgery. That procedure was performed in 2001.

I recently switched from another Cardiologist to Dr. Nanavati.  He is very kind and extremely down to earth.  Another positive is that he actually listens to your concerns and answers in plain language a person can understand! Having a heart issue is kinda scary so this helps having someone like him taking care of you... You would all benefit in making the switch to this wonderful Doctor!

My experience with Dr. Vimal Nanavati has been quite life changing, He is wonderful at explaining everything, relating to my condition and I would not hesitate in recommending him to anyone. He is certainly one of the best cardiologist, very caring Doctor, he’s more than a surgeon and I considered him as family. My motto is not to go to the doctor unless I really feel something is wrong. However, when I met Dr. Nanavati, I felt that he was qualified, professional and caring to the point that now I ONLY trust two doctors: my brother and Dr. Nanavati. He always listens to my questions and thoroughly reviews any data related to my health to provide the diagnosis and treatment that is best for me. He is not a run of the mill doctor that gives you 5 minutes because he needs to see more patients quickly. He devotes all the necessary time to cover your health issues and give you options. I would strongly recommend Dr. Nanavati to anyone who needs a highly effective and qualified CARDIOLOGIST.
